The International Yoga Day has been celebrated across the world annually on 21st June every year since 2015. Yoga serves awareness about the numerous benefits of it and promotes its holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The theme of 9th International Yoga Day 2023 is "Humanity". On this occasion the whole Modern High School family(students and teachers)participated in a Yoga programme . Yoga instructor from VYASA were invited to grace the occassion with greatest vigor and enthusiasm.

The summer camp aimed at keeping the learners to explore and express their creativity in any form. Our MODERN HIGH SCHOOL ( Sr.secondary) has organised a one day short colourful programme on 24/6/23 inside the school premise.The young toddlers and young students from class preparatory to class iv participated with great enthusiasm. They are fluidly guided by the well trained and well experienced teachers. The youngsters and the teachers as well engaged themselves with various astounding activities like water activities, sorting different colour balls, fishing game, puppet show, bubble blowing, outdoor games, fun play and dance. The young students amidst fun, learned, experienced and also explored new fun skills creating a vibrant atmosphere. They not only enjoyed a great fun and joy, but also adventured new learning skills through various fun games and activities.

In order to motivate the students , a debate program has been organised  where the participants presented their arguments and discussed the Topic:" Social networking sites are used for stalking instead of communication" from two different perspectives. The main objective of this program is to motivate the students in co-curricular activities and drive out the best in them.The students have also shown massive interest by  participating enthusiastically and with zeal .

The Modern High School Scouts and Guides enjoyed a tremendous momentary camping and Over Night Hiking" From Chamatapathar BSGA State Training Center towards Pobitora... Which was arranged by Rang Ghar Open Group on 26 and 27th Aug. 2023 with their Guide Captain Mrs. Mukta Das and Scout Master Mr. Debajyoti Dutta. The MHS Students first time got an opportunity for the night Hiking experience...... They walked nearly about 7 to 9 km.and everyone came back at mid night in the training center safely.They reached home the next day with new experience and lovely memories. On the event maximum students joined from 5 District and 13 schools.... Almost 230 students 25 Official persons were present there..... From our Modern High School 11 guides and 18 scouts had participated.
